Worship Through Dance / My Journey

One of the things I love the most about my church and my community is that one of the many ways we worship God is through Congregational Dance. I think that dance in general is honestly such a beautiful way to worship the Lord. It is so passionate, personal, and you can truly make it to be your own. I have always loved to dance, even when I was a little girl. Through my church, I have been able to participate in several lyrical dances that we have shared with the rest of the congregation. Unfortunately, this is possibly my last year being in this beautiful community, and I am so blessed to show you all some of the dances that I have done in the past couple years. It is bittersweet, moving on to new things, but I am so happy I have these videos to remind me that God’s presence is so good, and worshipping Him is one of the best ways to ultimately express yourself. It is for Him that I dance, that I give Him endless praise.

I would love to hear any feedback you have regarding these dances. The choreography comes from the lovely Hannah Howard, who has always inspired me to make every movement my own.

Looking back at all these videos reminds me just how thankful I am to have so many wonderful and supportive people in my life. I am so blessed. And thank you, dear friends, for taking the time to read my blogs and to walk beside me in this lovely journey.
